Also nearby is the birthplace of the Modern Olympics, Much Wenlock, which is well worth a visit. Wootton Lodge Mews is situated in the small hamlet of Wootton, 4 miles from Bridgnorth, 11 miles from Kidderminster and 14 miles from Telford and Wolverhampton. In less than an hour you can be in Shrewsbury, Ludlow or Bishop's Castle or even the NEC on a good day! The nearby town of Bridgnorth has always boasted a wealth of pubs, at one time the count reached 66, and there is still an amazing variety of hostelries/eateries, many of which we can personally recommend.
